How LifeSkills Cares collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Last updated: September 19, 2026
LifeSkills Cares, Inc. (“LifeSkills Cares”, “we”, “us”) runs this website to offer continuing education, publish Black Mental Health Today, and support the Black Mental Health Symposium. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Our website software and security tools use cookies and similar technology to keep the site working, remember you while you’re signed in, and block spam submissions.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run this organization, and only as far as they need it:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our community.
We keep subscriber information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Continuing education records are kept for as long as our accrediting bodies require, so that we can verify your credits later. Form submissions are kept while they’re useful for the purpose you sent them.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. Contact us and we’ll help.
This site is intended for professionals and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No website can promise perfect security, but we take this seriously and review our practices.
If we make significant changes, we’ll post the updated policy here with a new date at the top.
